Who Is This Kid?

I have been beaten, trapped, entangled, stuck, desperate, out of breath, angry, bitter, hopeless, restless, and broken.

I am liberated, paid for, restored, redeemed, filled, hopeful, at peace, changed forever, challenged every day, known fully, and loved deeply.

I am free.

I believe we all have capacities…ones to grow, to extend, to love. We are a limited people. Our capacities only go so far. We only love so much. Thankfully there is One, who I believe, is limitless. This is an invitation into a glimpse of my journey. Small pictures. Trivial or significant – the limitless One is a part and transcends all. We are designed to have purpose, to be free. First steps are difficult, but meaningful. I find that no matter how many steps I take forward, most will feel like first steps. I’m hoping that these small fragments of my life will encourage you to seek the One, who knows and is beyond all things, who loves you. So you can also be free. So you can also take continual first steps. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed.
